COMEDY

Yeti's - Demon Dive Bar
Direct from a smash hit debut season in Australia, this 'irresistible' (Guardian) musical sketch comedy duo give you a high-energy, hysterical combination of bizarre characters, relentlessly catchy songs and the story of the strangest dive bar in town! Yeti's is dark, dirty and dangerously funny. 'A lip-smacking, lascivious, faintly terrifying treat' **** (Telegraph). 'With the darkness of The Mighty Boosh and the lightness of Flight of the Conchords, this is the perfect double act.' ***** (EdFestMag.com). 'Comic genius' ***** (ThreeWeeks).

THEATRE

Hess
In May 1941, Rudolf Hess, Hitler’s deputy, bails out over Scotland on a self-appointed mission of peace. Immediately imprisoned, he was later sentenced to life at the Nuremberg Trials on charges of conspiracy for war and crimes against peace. Then he was incarcerated in the infamous Spandau Prison. In Michael Burrell’s award-winning one-man play, Hess, played by Derek Crawford Munn, supposes what he might say to an audience about himself, the Third Reich, and the world we have created since the downfall of the Nazis. How much has really changed?

DANCE

Smother
‘Unparalled beauty... a striking dystopian fairytale reminiscent of Jamie Brittain's Skins’ ***** (EdFestMag.com). Can you stay true to yourself, when everything suggests you change? 201’s raw, contemporary hip hop returns in Smother: a story of two men's broken encounter. Returning after a sold out Edinburgh Fringe 2015 and acclaimed international tour, this groundbreaking production touches on themes of addiction, obsession and commitment. Choreographer Andrea Walker directs a cast of seven dancers in a fast-paced, intimate performance, exploring the relationship of two young men.

CIRCUS

Elixir
Winner: First and Foremost Entertainment Award, Brighton Fringe 2015. Elixir is circus like you have never seen before, uninhibited by cliche or expectation, subversive and hilarious at the same time. The story follows three bumbling (albeit handsome) scientists who attempt to create the elixir of life. The mayhem that follows is a beautiful mix of incredible acrobatics and impeccable comic timing. Acrobats fly five metres into the air on the teeterboard, spin upside down in the mesmerizing cyr wheel, perform incredible one-arm handstands on wobbling canes and balance on nothing but their heads on a swinging trapeze.

COMEDY

Loyiso Gola: Dude, Where's My Lion?
Two-time Emmy nominated comedy writer and 2014 winner of the Comics' Choice Awards in South Africa, Loyiso Gola brings you his brand new show Dude, Where's My Lion? Diving into the hardship of post-apartheid South Africa with an undertone of optimism, Loyiso's candid style of delivery allows him to find silliness in the most intense of situations, as well as giving a contemporary African perspective on global current affairs. 'Effortlessly funny' (ThreeWeeks). 'Hilarious and heart-warming' (Herald).

MUSIC

My Leonard Cohen
Few bodies of musical work rouse, seduce and are of such solace as that of the great Leonard Cohen. Stewart D’Arrietta’s musical interpretations are gutsy and arresting, and the stories he tells add an intimate insight into Cohen’s life and motivations. ‘A glowing tribute to this legendary artist’ (PopCulture-Y.com). The six-piece band perform songs including the heartrending Suzanne, the iconic Tower of Song, the desperately seductive I’m Your Man, the rousing Hallelujah, plus more. 'Not just for Cohen fans but for anyone with a true love of music and theatre and great musicianship' (StageWhispers.com.au).
