MUSICAL THEATRE

The Vaudevillains
To celebrate their 15th year, Olivier-nominated Les Enfants Terribles invite you to The Empire music hall for a night you'll never forget, but tonight's show will be different. The club's owner, Charlie, has fallen victim to a murder most foul... but whodunnit? Could it be nervy knife thrower Ray the Blade, sexy Siamese Striplets, the Cerberus Sisters, deranged ventriloquist Albert Frog, macabre mime Gaston Gasteau or perhaps the mystifying magician, The Great Mephisto? Everyone's a suspect, as we discover the secrets of the weird and wonderful acts who have found themselves upon The Empire's bill.

COMEDY

Jamie MacDonald: High Vis
The white stick waving blind bombshell is fast becoming a household name. Outrageous and fun Jamie expertly mines the world for comedy gems like beautiful Spanish disabled toilets and the fad month of Gaypril. This year it’s all about sticking out in this must see show. ‘One of the funniest Scots on the circuit’ **** (Sunday Herald). ‘Compelling anecdotes’ *** (Scotsman).

THEATRE

Boris: World King
The thinking man's idiot returns following Brexit victory/defeat (delete as applicable). 'Nails his blustery charm and the steely way he uses it ' **** (Times). 'Very amusing show with a bite in its tail' **** (Evening Standard).

CIRCUS

Attrape Moi
Attrape Moi (Catch me!) twirling twelve hoops, dancing with diabolos, and soaring through the air - all in a day's play for Flip FabriQue, the new face of Quebec circus. High flying, fearless and fun, these young artist-athletes astound audiences with adrenaline pumping feats of cutting edge nouveau cirque, dazzling in a crowd-pleasing spectacle of extreme acrobatics, dramatic turns on trampoline wall, and inventive parkour. This is a virtuoso display of athleticism and showmanship for the whole family.

THEATRE

Lucy McCormick: Triple Threat
Post-popular prodigy Lucy McCormick and her Girl Squad present a trash-step dub-punk morality play for the modern world. Casting herself in every main role, Lucy attempts to reconnect to her moral conscience by re-enacting biblical stories via a nu-wave holy trinity of dance, power ballads and absurdist art. With direction from Ursula Martinez.

COMEDY

Matt Forde
Following the UK's most important referendum until the next one, Matt Forde celebrates why it's great/awful that we're in/out of the EU/UK/NATO/whatever the hell happens next. As seen on The Royal Variety Performance 2015 (ITV), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Mock the Week (BBC Two), and Question Time (BBC One). 'A first class comic' (Guardian). 'Highly engaging, inherently funny... an ability to ad-lib laughs out of thin air' (Chortle).

MUSIC, COMEDY

The Doug Anthony All Stars
Paul McDermott and Tim Ferguson have teamed up with mentor Paul 'Flacco' Livingston for a sublime night of songs, sex, violence, feminism (and sex) that revolutionised the world of comedy in the '80s and '90s and made DAAS the world's first and most feared, loathed and adored comedy rock stars. Following a 2015 sell-out international run, Australia's most controversial export invites you to come running and screaming down memory lane! Meet the men who built the legend. Age has only made them angrier.
